Patty spent a very fun day with Jen, Elin, and Landon (and Kacey toward the end). Matthew opened the emergency exit at McDonald's and set off the alarm. I put him in time out while he wailed with terror and the sadness of being punished. A McDonald's employee came over to turn off the alarm, picked him and gave him a hug, and then brought over an ICE CREAM CONE. Discipline FAIL.

Hannah set off the fire alarm in a Japanese steakhouse/sushi place. The noise alone was punishment alone for her.

It is a scary thought that the employee was a mother, AHHHH, those kids will be in my school someday!

It could be worse! My daughter would bathe in this cotton candy scented body spray that makes you cough up a carnival smelling lung. I finally went evil on her and threw it away. Purchased something tolerable to replace it - but sprayed some on a card and sealed it in ziplock so that someday she can open it - see how she stank - and thank me for the intervention

I adore patty for her ability to just throw it out there and let it be a funny moment. It could be a terribly stressfull life if we don't laught at things like unintentionally flashing people at the pool - and children getting into absolutely EverYTHing. I have much to learn from you lady!!

Patty is missing Tommy and Johnny's birthday party because Matthew woke up from nap with a fever and stomachache. While I was calling to give our regrets, I noticed Ryan's entire body has broken out in weird red hive-type things. What the hell is going on here?
August 8 at 4:43pmPatty was letting her boys play outside unattended, only to discover them with BBQ sauce all over their faces and also having destroyed a few cucumbers by feasting upon them from the garden. I asked, "Why is there BBQ sauce on your face? What have yo...u been eating?" Matt replied, "We eat the paintbrush," meaning they were sucking on the brush for the sauce from LAST NIGHT'S grilled chicken. Hi, salmonella. PARENTING FAIL.

OOPS MY BAD.....Don't worry. The chicken was cooked pre-painting
damn, here I thought you had a BBQ sauce plant too.
OH THANK GOD, Eric! I was FREAKING OUT.
LMAO Leah!!! If I ever do, I will totally invite you over at harvest time.
♥Finn♥ - rust has iron, you know.
What ever you feed them in the next 24 hours- no bright colors, in case they do start to vomit!
Nick:
REPORT!!
Ah hell Patty. I learn SO much from you and your boys!
I love that Finn licks bumpers. If he didn't then he'd never know what they tasted like. I'd like to see THAT on a child genius test. I'd be giving A+s all around.
LMAO!!! I love you, Patty! You always make me laugh!!
At least they had their veggies too. It's a well rounded diet.

Paige, today half of the Moms in chick-fil-a freaked out when he was touching the trashcan so I had to pretend like that was the worst possible thing he's ever done and wipe him down from head to toe.
Patty, I will not report you to DCF unless you want me to. :)
If it helps. I know have barbecue sauce in my hair and up my nose beacuse I let Gage have my fork.
I am shocked! What kind of parent let's their kids have bbq sauce and not give them a beer to chase it down with???
Love this story! How can you be mad when they are so cute?
mmmm paintbrushes...
Stacey:
Oh Patty...so funny! I thought you were being crafty and letting them paint with food outside. Like potato stamps, etc.? Guess not!!
